SAINT CATHERINE'S MONASTERY HOPE FOR HUMANITY The Mount Sinai Project A Non-Profit Film Company CONTACT US
Who are we? The Mount Sinai Project is a non-profit film organization. Our goal is to use our unique media platform to create culturally competent films for the betterment of humanity. Films of the Mount Sinai Project (MSP) aim to enlighten and unify society. We at MSP are proud to announce our premiere feature length documentary! Our first film focuses on the oldest Christian monastery in the world and the hope it brings to people of all religions that we may live and worship together in harmony. Saint Catherine’s Monastery, located at the foot of Mount Sinai in Egypt, is best known as the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Since the monastery’s establishment in the 6th century AD, limited entry has been granted to the outside world. As the first film crew in over 40 years to be provided extended access, we look forward to sharing with you the beauty and hope that the story of Saint Catherine’s brings to humanity. All proceeds associated with this film will be divided equally between donations to Saint Catherine’s Monastery, and the development of the project.

What makes this film so important?
Mount Sinai, being the birthplace of the story of Moses, serves as an underlying connection between Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. It is therefore one of the only places in the world that serves as common ground for all religions. For over 1500 years The local followers of Islam have dedicated their lives to protecting not only the Monastery and the Christians, but also travelers of all ethnic backgrounds and beliefs. Mount Sinai is proof that religions have lived in harmony for over a thousand years. The story of Saint Catherine’s serves as a beacon of hope for all people of different backgrounds to live together in peace.
